How can I help? What a great question! One of the most common myths about
hemlock woolly adelgid is there is nothing you can do. We disagree. The
following are some ways you can get involved. Contact
us if you have any questions, thoughts or suggestions.

For every $10 you donate to our project, one hemlock tree will be saved.
A soil injection treatment means your hemlock will be kept alive for the
next 2-5 years.

We need your expertise and assistance to save our natural areas!
• Volunteer to treat trees! We need people to hike around in the
beautiful forests of Kentucky and save trees. Are you interested?
• Help us raise money! Grant writers and and volunteers willing
to host fundraisers are essential to this project. For every $10 we raise,
we save one tree!
• Become a crew leader! We need a contact person in each county
to help answer questions and track the movement of HWA. Training provided!

The impacts of hemlock woolly adelgid are going to happen if nothing is
done. We need to get the word out so homeowners and land managers have
time to prevent this irreversible damage.
• Encourage everyone you know to treat their hemlock trees! If we
all take responsibility for our parts of Kentucky, together we can save
our hemlocks!
